About me

Hi, my name is Leah.

I am a tea drinking, snow hating, Badger obsessed, lover of all things cheesy kind of girl. I like to bake and adore Happy Hour.  I want to say that I love working out but the truth is I love the way I feel afterwards.  I love my family and being an Aunt has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

I have an unnatural obsession with James Taylor’s music, I’ve been listening to him since I was in the womb. My lifetime dream is that my mother would get to meet him.   She is my earth bound angel and I would be proud to be like her when I eventually grow up. She always told me 2 things that I have found to be true.

1. If it is meant to be it will find a way (clique but true).
2. If money can fix it, it's not really a problem.

More about her later.

I was lucky enough to learn early on who my friends really were.  Since then, I have been blessed to have the most supportive, hard headed, loving, fun and all around amazing friends in the world.  When I sat down to try to describe myself I thought I couldn't do it with out them. I (strangely) asked them to tell me the 3 words they thought described me.  Here is what they said...

Amazing, Beautiful, Shawty, Fun, Fearless, Curious, Strong, Loyal, Fun...

They are my friends so I guess they had to say nice stuff. My favorite? Shawty.  I guess you have to know Kilee :)

This blog is to keep the people I love updated about my life just like a big group email.  Please don't judge my grammar mistakes or random tangents of thoughts. Sooooo,  here is the quick breakdown.  I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan then went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For the past 5 years I have lived in Milwaukee, worked in sports and loved it.  In September I moved to Montreal, Canada.  No, I don't have a job yet and no, I don't speak French.  I told you it was a quick breakdown, right?

Here is the last American Flag I saw...

and the first Canadian one.

Let the adventure begin.

Why Chasing Madison?

Well, why not? Recently I have started to realize that there is this particular feeling that I look back on and miss.  I was in the end of my college career and was so uncertain about my future but found comfort in the fact that I was surrounded by love and happiness (not to mention the fact that I could go out and party any night of the week and it was never a bad idea).  As life has moved on the uncertainties have become different but I miss that feeling of endless possibilities and have been trying to live my life in a way that the version of me that I was back then would be proud of.  Do you know where I went to college? You guessed it...Madison.
